Art for the Ocean – NOVEMBER 2012!
Art for the Ocean is a public art auction which raises funds for Sea Shepherd Conservation Society to continue its campaigns to help protect our oceans.
It was an idea that began in 2011 and last year’s event received so much support that we were asked to run it again this year.
On the night you will have the opportunity to buy art which has been donated by artists whose pieces have been inspired by the theme: “oceans”. Last year’s entries included everything from paintings, sculpture and photography to jewellery and even clothing.
Art for the Ocean 2012 will follow a similar format to last year with submitted works to be auctioned on the night as part of a silent auction as well as others which will be available with Live bids. There will also be live entertainment and prizes to be won and some very special guests!
